Vale of Clwyd MP Dr James Davies is encouraging students aged between 14 and 19 to apply for a free work experience programme at Airbus.
Applications are now open for the next round of virtual work experience at Airbus, the global pioneer in the aerospace industry, operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence and space sectors.
Successful applicants will hear from the people who make Airbus the company that it is and be provided with opportunities to complete activities in various departments to get a feel of what space is most interesting to them.
There are approximately 10 hours to complete and at the end of the course the students will receive a certificate of competition.
Encouraging students to apply, James said:
“I am delighted that Airbus are giving further students the opportunity to apply for this work experience. Previous rounds have proved extremely successful, with students gaining even more skills and knowledge as they look towards employment.
“Being run online, these courses are so accessible. Students attend live webinars and can complete the course at a pace that suits them.
“I encourage any young person to apply to take part in this exciting opportunity.”
All students aged between 14 and 19 are welcome to apply here: https://www.springpod.com/virtual-work-experience/aerospace-work-experience - applications close on 17th November for work experience starting 21st November.
