Vale of Clwyd MP Dr James Davies is asking constituents to get in touch if they know an individual or school they would like to be put forward for the ONE Campaign’s Global Changemaker Awards.
ONE’s Global Changemaker Awards have been designed to celebrate the role that members of the public play in making the UK a force for good in the world and the awards will showcase the very best of British spirit. The Awards will highlight the role that members of the public play in building up our global reputation and recognise those who have managed to go above and beyond to make change happen.
The world is faced with a series of converging crises; the invasion of Ukraine, global hunger, climate change and health insecurity. It is sometimes difficult to remember to recognise the positive actions that individuals take each day to support global change when we are faced with such pressing challenges.
That is why the ONE Campaign has set up the awards and asked MPs to nominate individuals and schools in their constituencies who have made a real difference, be that by carrying out charitable work overseas, volunteering in a local charity shop, or advocating for action on climate change.
James wants to recognise as many of these inspiring individuals as possible to praise their efforts and hopefully encourage others who are looking to drive change.
So, if you know an individual who is deserving of this award, then get in touch with Dr James Davies MP’s office at [email protected] using the subject line “Global Changemaker Awards”. There is no specific criteria for nominations.
