Residents in rural parts of the Vale of Clwyd were given the opportunity to meet up with their local MP over recent weeks, with summer surgeries held at various locations across the constituency.
Dr James Davies MP has been out and about throughout the area during the Parliamentary summer recess, to make it easier for residents to raise their concerns with him.
He has held surgeries in Rhuallt, Trefnant, Bodfari, Rhewl, Bodelwyddan, Dyserth, Cefn Meiriadog, Llandyrnog, and Cwm over the past couple of months.
He said:
“Whilst residents can contact me about any issue at any time, I appreciate that some people prefer to meet in person to raise their concerns. The summer surgeries have therefore been a great opportunity to allow this, including in the most rural parts of the constituency.
“A variety of issues were raised at the surgeries, although NHS services in North Wales dominated many of the discussions. There were some truly awful and distressing matters raised which I will be taking further.
“I hope residents found the surgeries useful and I thank all those who attended.
“It has been great to catch up with constituents I have known for years and to meet other residents for the first time.
“It is important that politicians are easily accessible to the residents they represent and I will continue holding regular surgeries when I can. The dates of these are always available via my office.
"If you wish to raise any issue affecting you or your family, please email [email protected], telephone 01745 888920 or write to 198 High Street, Prestatyn, LL19 9BP."
